Wrack Micaela

KRK ISLAND

The wreck of the Micaela is located on the south side of the island of KRK and is only about 10 – 15 minutes away from the dive center. This is a sports boat with cabin that sank in a storm. The wreck lies at a depth of approx. 30m and is therefore very good for advanced divers. However, inexperienced divers can see the wreck from a depth of 18m – 20m when visibility is good. At the anchorage we follow the plateau until the steep face begins. From there you can dive at a right angle to the left and you will automatically come to the wreck. The plateau is covered with a lot of seaweed and so there is a good chance of encountering seahorses and octopods while diving.

Kormati South

KRK ISLAND

Kormati South is an underwater plateau located between the island of Krk and Plavnik. Our boat anchors on the huge plateau and below us is a crater landscape at a depth of about 5-7m. At the end of the plateau is a ledge that drops down to a depth of 40m. Where you dive on the beautiful steep wall with gorgonians, snails and congers with your right shoulder at the wall. The return is made with the left shoulder at the wall until the canyon leads the diver back to the plateau where one can begin their safety stop.

Wrack Jakljan

KRK ISLAND

The wreck of the Jakjlan lies on the northeast side of the island of Krk. Found for the first time in 2020, the wreck has been dormant since World War II. An experience for very experienced divers as the gunboat lies at a depth of 40m. Our boat anchors directly above the Jakljan and you dive down on the anchor chain. Suddenly the silhouette appears and then the well-preserved wreck beneath you. A top class dive.

Galun

KRK ISLAND

The small island of Galun is located in the immediate vicinity of the Stara Baska diving center in the south-west of the island of Krk. The tip of the island is a little out of the water, where seagulls and other birds have their home. For divers, especially those with archaeological and historical interest, there is a lot to discover in the water such as an amphora field with a depth between 15 – 30m that has survived from Roman antiquity. The amphorae are now populated with bryozoans and thread snails. Great photos and clear water await you.
